Brustem Air Base Museum
This small museum in the wing of the abbey building has an interesting exhibition about the history of the former airport of Brustem. Photographs and pictures of the base in 1936, the Belgian presence, the occupation by the German Luftwaffe and the American USAAF-period. Since 1947 the Belgian Airforce has trained its pilots in Brustem.
