Underground chapel
Behind the tower you discover the tombstone of Renier van Rijkel and an underground church which was situated beneath the Romanesque church. In the renovated crypt there are archeological remains and you can watch a movie covering the origins of the city. A corridor with caverns and graves dating from the 18th century is located in the back of the crypt.
