Festraets’ astronomical clock
Kamiel Festraets started building his clock, which became Limburg’s oldest touristic attraction, in 1937. It was finished only in 1942. Eight years later he built the pendulum of Foucault and the rotation of the sun around the earth. In 1968 everything was put together in the Festraetsstudio.
